I decided to start an ad campaign in support of Ron Paul's 2008 presidential bid.  While the Good Doctor's message is ripe with content, all too often it's just over people's heads.  In this age where more people pay attention to Paris Hilton than the future of their country, sometimes it's best to Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS).  These ads do just that.  Each one addresses a single issue using a common design theme.  As more and more ads get distributed, I'm hoping the theme encourages a "collector" mentality where viewers know it's a Ron Paul ad with just a quick glance, but then is curious to see if it's one they've seen before.   Above all, these ads are meant to grab people's (5 second) attention and just make them curious to learn more about Ron Paul.

To the best of my knowledge, these images are all royalty-free (I bought them as such, then modified them).  Print them out and distribute all over the place.  Some are targeted ads, so remember your audience and your environment.

A man of the Constitution.  Our nation was built on the principles outlined in the Constitution.  Today we've strayed very far from those principles, and given up many of our rights in the process.  While few have actually read the Constitution, "we the people" would have a very different nation without this great document.  Suitable for distribution everywhere.

A bigger piece of the pie.  Most people lose a third of their income to taxes and other federally-regulated services.  Other candidates want even more of the pie.  Ron Paul wants you to keep it all.  After all, who do you think would do a better job of managing your money -- you, or the federal government?  Because of the sensitivity of abolishing Social Security and Medicare, I wouldn't leave this in areas with a large senior citizen population.  Like Florida.  ;-)

No taxes on tips.  It's hard enough for people who rely on tips for part of their income.  Taxing them on it just adds to the burden.  Leave one of these at restaurants whenever you leave a tip, and all over school campuses.

The right to life.  Double-whammy on this one, but the main idea is that Ron Paul is pro-life.  Regardless, he advocates personal choice and personal freedom, and seeks to overturn Roe v. Wade, leaving the issue of abortion to be a state decision.  This is a personal and sensitive topic, so don't leave this where it could offend.  Suggest pro-life churches and communities.

Just for fun.  Alright this one is tongue-in-cheek.  Many people would have voted for Mitt Romney based on looks alone.  The Doc is not as good looking, but his message is true.  We want to convert the Romney fans, not alienate them.  Do not distribute blindly.

Decide for yourself.  This doesn't fit in the same category as the others, but... oh well.
